Prior Experience & Volunteer Positions: As Foreign Exchange Trading Operations Lead at a locally-based regional bank, I learned to get all the details right the first time. I was responsible for seeing that large amounts of foreign currency were delivered to the correct bank in the correct country, at the correct time. An error could mean large financial penalties & loss of clients. I earned a reputation for accuracy and excellent client care. As Volunteer Coordinator for Cooperative Extension’s “Master Gardener” volunteer program, I learned to work with people so that we all enjoyed ourselves, accomplishing our efforts smoothly and efficiently. The Master Gardener program is a wonderful program that educates the public on using good, safe techniques to have the most success in your garden, and teaches children to love gardening via small projects that offer quick success and confidence. As Church Council President, I’ve learned how to eke the most value from limited assets, and the importance of treating everyone well, so we all work together for the greater good. As a married Mom of three, one teen and two adults, I’ve learned that not only can you live through the “Terrible Twos”, you can survive the teenage years! (I used to wonder.) My family is the central, most important aspect of my life. I take everything that I have learned in my life & put it to work for my clients.
